It was a beautiful summer day on July 27th, 2013. This was the day that Scott and Kerstin got married at Iron Lakes Country Club in Schnecksville, PA, and Stevie Ray Entertainment had the pleasure of providing DJ and Lighting services for the Ceremony and Reception. They had a small but fun reception. I knew if was going to be a fun crowd, because during dinner the Bride requested Cups by Anna Kendrick. I thought nothing of it, as I played the song, but moments later I realized half the crowd was doing the “Cups performance” (you can find the original on YouTube. You would think after 20 years, you would have seen just about everything, but then a Bride & Groom go and surprise you. After dinner when the dancing got going, the energy stayed high. I loved seeing the bride out dancing for most of the night, and better yet, even the groom made a few appearances on the dance floor, which more often than not is a rarity. It was an honor to be a part of this fun loving couples special day. I thank them for hiring us.
