This was the fourth year SRE provided the entertainment for the LAHS prom. We were informed that this was going to be their largest Prom attendance wise ever with 260 students (up about 20% from previous years). To accommodate the extra seating, we were going to have a completely separate banquet room just for the dancing. So after reviewing all of the space we were going to have available to us, we decided to provide something bigger than we have ever attempted in the past. This would be our most ambitious undertaking to date. This school has always had our video package of 2 LED TV’s, this year we stepped up the video presentation big time with 10 foot video screens. We also flew two 13′ spans of horizontal trussing with 4 Blizzard Torrent Moving Heads on each Truss (8 Total) to give the students a Nightclub/Concert look & feel from the light show. We also provided a custom monogram for them in the lobby, as well as wireless battery operated uplighting (Blizzard Skybox EXA’s) around the second banquet room where they were dining. For sound we utilized 4 of our brand new state of the art RCF Evox 8 compact line array sound system. The sound was incredible from such a small compact sound system.
