Justin and Taryn held a beautiful lakeside Wedding Ceremony and reception at Split Rock Resort October 10, 2015. Taryn came to us with a request a few months before her wedding. She had decided that she wanted her reception in the very large conference space at Split Rock, but wasn’t fond of the rooms lighting. The wanted something more intimate, and the uplighting alone was not going to be enough. So after going over a few options with her, she decided to go with a soft white wash during dinner, which we were able to then use as colored dance floor lighting through the rest of the evening. Along with the reception lighting and DJ service, we also provided two additional sound systems, one for the lakeside ceremony, and one on the second floor for cocktail hour. Once the dancing started, I knew it was going to be a great night. The dance floor was huge, and it was full from beginning to end.
Typically, I do not post the formal introductions, but in this case, everyone had so much fun with their introduction, including not only the bridal party, but the parents as well, that I have included a video below of everyones little entertaining dance, as they came into the reception.
